Milana

Milana Aleksandrovna Vayntrub (American actress, comedian, activist) is a comedian. She was born in the Soviet Union to Jewish parents and started her career as an actress when she was a young girl, just after moving to the United States. She is best known for her appearances in AT&T commercials on television. In these commercials, Lily Adams (2013 to 2016) and 2020 (since 2020). She was a regular host of the Yahoo! Screen science-fiction comedy Other Space (2015). She was also a regular on the NBC drama This Is Us (2016–2017). After being cast in the TV pilot unaired for New Warriors, Vayntrub also voices Squirrel Girl on Marvel Rising. Vayntrub was Jewish, born in Tashkent, Uzbek Soviet Socialist Republic. Her parents and her left antisemitism at two years old. They moved to the U.S. with their children. Because of her family's financial troubles and her own financial struggles, she began acting in Mattel Barbie commercials as a five-year-old. Vayntrub briefly was a student at Beverly Hills High School, but she dropped out of the school following her sophomore year. She she was able to get an GED and then went to complete an Associate of Arts in Communication at the University of California, San Diego. She was a part of the Upright Citizens Brigade, and was a student of improv comedy.
