  Jacques Bermon Webster II (born on April 30, 1991) more popularly known as his stage name Travis Scott (formerly stylized as Travi$ Scott), is an American artist, rapper and songwriter as well as record producer. The stage name he uses is that of a beloved uncle, and also the initial name of Kid Cudi, his inspiration (whose real name was Scott Mescudi). In 2012, Scott signed his first major label deal with Epic Records. He also signed a publishing contract with GOOD Music with Kanye West. In April 2013 the singer-songwriter signed a joint-recording agreement with Epic and T.I. 's Grand Hustle imprint. Scott's first full-length album, Owl Pharaoh (1983), was self-released. In 2013, Scott self-released his first full-length album, called Owl Pharaoh. He then followed it with Days Before Rodeo in 2014. Rodeo (2015) was the first studio album by the artist. The hit single "Antidote" was the lead track. The second album, Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight (2016) was the first Billboard 200 number one album. Scott dropped Birds in the Trap Sing McCKnight (2016) alongside Quavo, under the collective name Huncho Jack. In 2018, Astroworld was released to praise from the critics. It was the first album to feature his Billboard Hot 100 top 100 single, "Sicko Mode" feat. Drake. In late 2019, Scott's record label Cactus Jack Records released the compilation album JackBoys which debuted at the top of the Billboard 200. Following the release of his single "Franchise" (featuring Young Thug and M.I.A.) Scott became the first Hot 100 artist to have three songs hit the number one spot within a mere decade in 2020.
