Winona-Ryder
Winona Laura Horowitz who is professionally known in the media as Winona Ryder was born in Winona Minnesota. Parents of Winona Ryder named her for the town she grew up in. Her father Michel Horowitz and her mother Cynthia Palmer were authors and editors. Ryder's parents also happen to be Jewish. Ryder believes herself to being Jewish. Uria is Ryder's younger brother. Jubal, Sunyata and Sunyata are her half-siblings. Ryder relocated with her family members to Mendocino County California at the age of seven. In Mendocino County, they did not have electricity. Ryder was an avid read and often spent her time reading books as there was no television. Ryder started taking classes in acting at the American Conservatory Theatre in 1983 aged 12. Lucas The film from 1986, was her first major character. Ryder was only 15 when she got it. Ryder was bullied at high school. Ryder hoped her career as an actor would be able to bring about change. Unfortunately, that did not happen. But she pushed on with her dreams. Beetlejuice, a 1988 Tim Burton film, was her first big break. Ryder continued playing parts that proved successful in various films. In 1993 she received two nominations in the Academy Awards. One of was for her performance in The Age of Innocence.
